Tales From The Fridge

I wandered lonely as an omelette

Fluffy in my shell

I couldn’t see the wood for the bees

Or the asparagus as they fell

All around the asparagus fell

Bouncing off the Floor

Then I saw two Norfolk dumplings

Playing gooseberries to a prawn

“Be Gone” I shouted at them all

“ You are not worth a fig!

Be gone I tell you, now, at once!

And bring me back my wig

For it is cold and I am hungry

And I do not have a bean

You lot don’t know your onions

From all that I have seen”

They ummmed and aarrred

They aarrred and ummmed

And made a meal of it

Then took my biscuit and said hard cheese

So I saddled up my pig!
